Anna-Maria HADJISTEFANOU was born in Cairo, Egypt.

 

She holds a BA (honours) in Communication Design, Central Polytechnic, an RSA Diploma in Teaching English as a Second Language (University of Cambridge) and an MA in Education (The Open University).

 

She works professionally as a photographer, English teacher and translator in Athens, Greece.

 

Recent photographic exhibitions and competition participations

January 2009: Punctuation points, exhibition in collaboration with George Tsaknias (Diana Gallery).

April 2010: Solo exhibition, Recollections (This is not a Gallery)

August 2010: Third merit, Tzoumerka Art Festival, Chaos and Fractals, the Art of Nature.

December 2010: Third merit in the pan-Hellenic competition of the Greek Photographic Society.

February 2011: Solo exhibition, On Becket's Footfalls, (Gallery Manifactura).

March 2011: Participation in the group exhibition: The Arteshop PROJECT.

November 2011: Participation in the group exhibition Contrast: Traces, shadows, insinuations, 2nd Photography Festival, Thessaloniki, 2011.

May-June 2012: Bus Stop Museum, exhibition in collaboration with Fotis Plegas (National Archaeological Museum, Athens)

June 2013-September 2013. Participation in the group exhibition Colour (Pyrgos Santorinis, Traditional Village Museum).

November 2013: Participation in the group exhibition Metabolism (Cheapart, Athens).

November 2013: Participation in the group exhibition of F14, Photographers' Commune (The Greek Photographic Society, Athens)
